Networking works best when it’s genuine, local, and relaxed. By meeting in a quiet setting where people can think and talk openly, we build real connections that lead to long-term business growth and collaboration.”

Warrington Business Networking

Every Monday at 7:00pm — Winwick Leisure Centre, Middleton Lane, Winwick, Warrington WA2 8LQ

A relaxed, practical business networking evening designed for owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs across Warrington and the North West.

Each week, we bring together local business people to share ideas, discuss opportunities, and build lasting professional relationships — all in a calm, friendly environment.

This is networking done differently: informal, supportive, and results-focused.

Time and Place

Every Monday, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Venue: Winwick Leisure Centre, Middleton Lane, Winwick, Warrington WA2 8LQ

Winwick Leisure Centre provides comfortable seating, parking, and excellent facilities.

The networking evening coincides with Winwick Chess Club’s Monday meeting, meaning the atmosphere is naturally quiet, thoughtful, and ideal for conversation. No loud background noise — just focused discussions, professional insights, and genuine connections.

Why Attend

Many business owners find traditional networking noisy, rushed, or overly sales-driven.
Warrington Business Networking was created to provide the opposite: a relaxed space to connect, collaborate, and exchange knowledge without pressure.

Each meeting is an opportunity to:

      • Meet local business owners and decision-makers

      • Discover suppliers, partners, or clients in your area

      • Gain new ideas to improve efficiency, marketing, or profitability

      • Discuss business challenges and share practical solutions

      • Develop trust-based referral relationships over time

The group welcomes people from all sectors — accountants, financial advisers, trades, retailers, digital agencies, consultants, and start-ups.

Meeting Format (90 minutes)

7:00pm – Welcome & Open Networking
Tea and coffee served on arrival. Informal introductions and conversations.

7:15pm – One-Minute Introductions
Each attendee briefly introduces their business, who they help, and what they’re currently looking for.

7:35pm – Spotlight Presentation
A short five- to seven-minute talk from a local business, sharing insight, experience, or a success story.

7:45pm – Round-Table Discussion
An open discussion where attendees can raise business challenges, ask for feedback, or share useful contacts and recommendations.

8:20pm – Wrap-Up & Follow-Ups
We finish by summarising key introductions and setting clear next steps.

What Makes It Different

      • Calm and professional atmosphere – Held alongside Winwick Chess Club, the tone is relaxed, reflective and focused.

      • No pressure selling – The emphasis is on genuine introductions and practical support.

      • Local relevance – Every attendee is connected to the Warrington and Cheshire business community.

      • Real value – Attendees leave with clear actions, not just business cards.

Who Should Attend

      • Established business owners seeking local partnerships and referrals

      • Start-up founders looking for guidance, clients or mentors

      • Professionals offering services to local SMEs (accountants, solicitors, financial advisers, consultants)

      • Tradespeople and contractors expanding their local network

      • Anyone running a North West business who values trust, collaboration, and conversation over sales pitches

What You’ll Gain

      • Stronger connections with local professionals

      • Fresh business ideas and marketing approaches

      • Opportunities for collaboration and referrals

      • Ongoing peer support from fellow business owners

      • Clear follow-up actions after every meeting

House Style

We keep it simple:

      • No speeches longer than one minute (except the spotlight slot)

      • No hard selling

      • Be positive, be concise, and bring one specific “ask” (e.g. “We’re looking for local web developers” or “We’d like an introduction to a printer in Warrington”).

Host’s Note

“In business, the right five minutes with the right person can transform your week.
We created this event to make those moments happen in a relaxed, professional setting — where people genuinely listen and help each other.”
