Marcel Flores aka Totty has won the Holland & Co Chartered Accountant’s Chess Cup. He did so in a dramatic way against numerous opponents under 15 minute rules.
” Totty is very familiar with the Reti system and is a specialist in Hyper Modern openings. Totty builds his defence initially and then once he has established a solid defence he attacks his opponent relentlessly.
He uses his fianchettoed bishops as snipers and slowly tortures opponents.
He won this competition on merit and he is especially strong with bullet games and blitzes.”
