Holland & Co Chartered Accountants have completed an exhaustive recruitment exercise and are pleased to announce that they have appointed their new member of staff, Awais Kayani.
Awais was successful in obtaining the prestigious position at Holland & Co Chartered Accountants after undergoing extensive psychological tests and work based aptitude tests. He was tested at various levels to identify his general aptitude, intelligence and personality.
Awais has obtained a first class BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. The modules on the degree included Information for Management, Financial Accounting, Responsible Accountant, Economics and Quantitative Analysis.
His external interests include cricket, attending the gym and playing the guitar.

“ We received a large number of applications for the position when it was first advertised many months ago. Our selection procedure covered various aspects and we ideally wanted to employ someone who had obtained a first class degree in Accountancy. We then reduced the numbers of applicants by interviewing a small number of candidates who we felt may be suitable employees for our firm.
Work based experience was then offered to a number of candidates and following close examination of the work produced by these candidates, we were then able to decide from this that Awais was the ideal candidate for the job. He is extremely professional, intelligent and prepared to go that extra mile for our clients. He shows attention to detail and we feel he will fit in well with the rest of our team.
